Scrum Team (Also Referred To As The 3 Roles In Scrum)

The 3 roles involved in scrum include the product owner, the scrum master and the development team. We will discuss more on this briefly.

The scrum team

This team has three components; the product owner, the scrum master and the development team.

• The product owner

This is the person fully accountable for the successful delivery of a product in line with the business’ goals. Although the product owner is in charge of the product, he/ she is, unlike in the traditional scenario, more of a collaborator than a commander and controller. As the bulk of this class is dedicated to the product owner, I will cover much more about this later.
